A Day in the life of TWINS.

I met these little guys just after they were born, a little over a year ago now. This season, I had the awesome pleasure of spending a full day with their growing family! So what does a day in the life look like with one-year-old twin boys? For this family, it is all about routine. They wake up, eat immediately (because B gets a lil hungry!), and then play. Cycle through that routine about 3x and you have a fullll day.

I was amazed at how different the two boys are. For example, B absolutely LOVES to eat, and eat, and eat, while E prefers swiping his food onto the floor for the dogs. Which is a fun game, I'm sure!

While I was there, E was walking everywhere. B was definitely trying to walk as well, but although his moments were really confident, he never made it more than a couple of steps before inevitably tipping over. (Though I hear he's walking now!)

This wonderful family also has two dogs, so I got to enjoy cuddling with them all day long. This one is Dez. Everyday, he follows the team upstairs when it's time for naps, and curls up between the cribs, like he's there to watch over them. It was so sweet to see, I had to make a picture of it. Even the dogs love these littles.

Too soon, it was time for the boys to get ready for bed. Everyone helped put the toys back in their bins, the boys had their milk, and then diaper changes.

The day ended with the sweetest family hug I have ever seen, and these tired eyes mirrored on either side of the room. I'm so thankful to have been able to spend the day with this fun, loving family. I'm already looking forward to next year!
